The Black Sheep Fiber Farm

 # 43 Scarf, hand spun from one of our favorite ewes, well known for her gorgeous, soft silver
gray Wool. Into this fleece was drizzled Angel Hair to add sparkle and dazzle. The resulting yarn was then woven on a 4" hand held loom in hourglass design. The next step was to attatch all the squares to bring into being this elegant one-of-a-kind scarf. Size 10" x 46" plus fringe of 2 1/4" at both ends. 

 # 42 Scarf, hand woven on same threading patern as Scarf #44, only this time woven as a continuous strip throughout.Handspun of our softest natural white Lamb's Wool plied with acrylic serging thread. A full 60" length will provide enough scarf to wrap around your neck several times, or to trail behind as you ski down the slope. Size 9" x 60" plus 3 1/2" finge both ends. 

 # 41 Scarf, handspun and hand knit of light gray 100% Wool that has been randomly accented with autumn greens, golds and rust eyelash acrylic yarn,  and a fringe. Warmth plus a titillating fashion statement.  Size 4" x 53" plus 2" fringe both ends.

 # 40 Scarf, handspun and hand knit of baby soft, white 100%  Lamb's Wool that is randomly accented with blue, turquoise and purple eyelash acrylic yarn,  and a fringe. It will add spicey excitement to any outfit.  Size 4" x 53" plus 2" fringe both ends..

 # 18 Scarf, handspun and hand knit of natural black 100% Lincoln Wool. Two rows of cables march

        the entire length of the scarf, embellished with a 2 inch fringe on both ends. Long enough to

        wrap around the neck and let the tails fly. Size 6" wide by 50" long, plus 2" fringe on both

        ends.  Scarf matches #18 Toboggan, above.

 # 18 Toboggan, handspun and hand knit of natural black 100% Lincoln Wool, Hogget fleece. Created

         in a k2 p2 design from top to bottom to provide smoothness of fit and maximum in stretch.

         Fashioned extra long to provide a brim to roll once or twice over the ears for extra warmth.

         Topped with a same fiber tossle. Unisex style and design. One size fits most. Matches Scarf

         #18 above.

 # 22 Lace Scarf, handspun and hand knit of white 100% Merino Wool (super-wash treated) Yarn.

         Straight knit around the neckportion of scarf, with two expanded ends done in a sort of popcorn

         stitch to create a flare.  Size 50" long x 4 1/2" wide.  Companion to Lace Hat #22, below.

 # 22 Lace Hat, # 22 Lace Hat, handspun and hand knit of 100% Merino Wool (Supe-Wash treated)

         yarn. Stretch-fit worn over the back of the head. Light and airy in weight, but sophistcated in

         appearance.  Lace Hat is companion to Lace Scarf #22, above. One size fits most.

 # 37 Triangle Neck Scarf, handspun and hand knit of a blend of 50% Wool and 50% natural tan Llama,

         that has been hand dyed with natural vegetable dye of walnut. Designed to cup over the

         shoulders and stay put. Reversable, stockinette stitch in a triangular shaped design with a 1 3/4"

         decorative lace edge. Great to wear as an ascot-type scarf under a coat or to dress up a 

         sweater or suit.  Size 42" wide, 13" depth at point.

 # 16 Triangle Neck Scarf, handspun and hand knit of a blend of 50% Wool and 50% Mohair, plied

         together with an acrylic glitter thread to add a bit of glamour. Hand knit of reversable stockinette

         stitch in a triangular shape design with a 2" decorative edge. Looks "Oh so good" over that little

         black dress. Size 42" wide x 13" depth at point.

 # 34 Triangle Neck Scarf was hand knit of a commercial spun yarn of Mohair and acrylic in a reversable stockinette stitch, with a triangular design and a 2" lace edge. Having just returned from Alaska, this yarn reminded me of the fall colors of the tundra. I enjoyed holding the colors of Denali in my hands while spinning.

  The shaped shoulders tapering to two long points would be great for tying, or as a base for a brooch, or to just let dangle down. This scarf will look good as a neck scarf under a coat or jacket. Size 45" wide x 13" depth.

 # 38 Triangle Neck Scarf, handspun and hand knit of a blend of 50% Wool and 50% Mohair, plied

         together with an acrylic glitter thread to add a bit of glamour. Hand knit in a reversable

         stockinette stitch and a triangular shape design, with a 2" lace edge. Light, warm, and glamorous.

         Size 44" wide x 29" depth.

 # 18 Triangle Neck Scarf, handspun of silk and plied with a strand of multi-colord acrylic glitter thread.

         Glamorous enough for a night on the town. Hand knit of a stockinette stitch in a trianglular shape

         design with a 2" lace edge. Shaped shoulders decreasing to two long points, great for tying, a 

         good base for a nice brooch, or just let the ends dangle.  Size 54" wide x 19" depth.
